Godfrey Mathenge lives in Kibera, one of the largest slums in Kenya, with his grandmother and siblings. His fathers whereabouts are unknown and his mother abandoned her children with the grandmother. His grandmother struggles to care for Godfrey because she has little income and takes care of other children.
Godfrey is currently in Elementary School. His favorite subject in school is Mathematics. When he finishes school, Godfrey wants to be a doctor because he enjoys helping others.
