Mercy Muyuka lives in Kibera, one of the largest slums in Kenya, with her mother and siblings. Her father passed away, so her mother struggles to care for her children. She earns limited income washing dishes and has many children to care for.
Mercy is currently in Elementary School. Her favorite subject in school is Science and English. When she is not in school she enjoys helping her mother wash utensils and cleaning the house. When she grows up she would like to be a nurse so she can help people who are sick.
