Shafiq Nsobya lives in the village of Luweero with his grandmother. His father was killed in the army and his mother died in 2003 when he was still very young. Shafiq and his grandmother fetch water in the village to try to earn some money for his school fees and basic needs but it is very hard for them to raise enough money.
Shafiq is currently in Primary School. He is very devoted to his education. His favorite subject in school is English. When he is not in school he enjoys playing soccer and helping his grandmother. When he grows up he wants to be a mechanic.
