Winnie Nankabirwa lives in the village of Luweero with her grandmother. Her mother was killed in a car accident and her father abandoned her. Winnie's grandmother fetches water to support the grandchildren she looks after but it is not enough to pay for their basic needs and school fees.
Winnie is currently in Primary School. He favorite subject in school is English. When she is not in school she enjoys playing with her dolls and helping her grandmother with chores. She wants to be a nurse when she grows up.
