MINISTRY SUPPORT TEAM
If you are interested in committing three months to two years in Uganda or Kenya you can join Empower A Child longer term as a Ministry Support Team (MST) member. Those interested in coming three months to one year would assist our full-time staff in weekly outreach programs as well as volunteer at various projects of your choice. As an MST you have the flexibility to volunteer at a projects that coincide with your gifts, talents, and passions. Some volunteers have a heart for babies and toddlers and spend their time in our babies’ home while some may have a passion for teens and work in a street kid's home. Many past MST members have even started new programs and created improvements for some of the projects they volunteered at.
Volunteer projects:
- Babies’ home
- Orphanage
- Sports Outreach
- High Schools
- School for Orphans and Vulnerable Children
- School for Disabled Children
- Teen Crisis Pregnancy Center
- Village Outreach and Building Projects
Ministry Support Team
- Administration Fee - $200
- Monthly - $600 for 3 months to 1 year.

This is due to the U.S. office at least one month prior to arrival in Africa. We understand if you are staying for 5 months or more you may have monthly supporters. For longer term stays, you will not have to pay your full amount up front. Please ask us for more details.
Please note that checks made out to Empower A Child are ultimately donations. Due to this, we cannot refund money for these trips if you must cancel. We can set aside your donation if you want to postpone your trip to another time.
